This Titanic museum offers an absolutely unique opportunity to experience what it was like being on RMS Titanic, by assigning you the identity of a passenger, and taking you down their path to icy disaster.
This museum was built half the scale to the original ship, and is the biggest permanent Titanic museum in the world. The structure of the ship is surrounded by water, giving visitors the experience of being at sea, and every "passenger" is given a ticket and 2 hours for self exploration. When you receive your ticket, it tells you your name and class- the information is the real name and class of someone who was on the actual ship when it sank.
Stories of several passengers are recounted as you walk in the shoes of the doomed ocean liner patrons, and the last stop is the memorial room, where you will find out your fate. Were you one of the lucky ones?
